The Women's Recovery Center

Who We Are

This women-only program includes a highly structured 90 day intensive residential treatment program and a transitional living program. A client can graduate earlier depending on progress in the program and treatment needs and issues.

Women and women with infants will be accepted into the program into our current facility. We will be moving in a year to a larger facility, at which time we will be accepting children up to the age of ten.

Our Staff are substance abuse professionals who utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices and receive ongoing education and training.

When appropriate, spouses, partners, other children and/or family members are always encouraged to participate in the treatment process.

A weekly multifamily group and opportunities for onsite visits are offered and primary counselors are available to meet individually for additional family and/or couple counseling.

Admission

Eligibility is determined after a client meets both clinical and financial eligibility. This begins by contacting our intake coordinator who will then help the client find a clinician in their county who can help the client complete the following.

  • A behavioral health assessment, an ASI, or AIA will need to be completed. This assessment must include information about any current medical issues and current medications.

  • If an agency, such as DHS, probation, parole, is involved with the initial referral, treatment goals and collateral information will be sent along with the assessments to help us establish the client's initial treatment plan goals at our facility. Coordination of care begins at assessment and will continue throughout the treatment process.

  • Upon admission women and their children will be connected to a Primary Care provider health goals are incorporated into our treatment plan.

  • If a child enters treatment, then early childhood services are provided to mother and child.

  • Clients and their treatment teams meet weekly to ensure that all of the clients goals are being met successfully.

    After....

Graduates are connected to other treatment resources and health programs. Referrals are thoughtfully made to link the client into the community which guarantees success.

The Women's Recovery Center is dedicated to helping women and women with children to overcome barriers to their recovery and healthy living.

Our goal is to help people with addictions find the tools they need to achieve positive change in their lives.

We provide honest caring feedback to clients and referring agencies on how the client progresses in the program and recommendations are provided at time of discharge.

Graduates celebrate the joy, improved health, and freedom gained by their successful, stable and productive lives they created for them and for their families.
