NEW GROUP PLANNED!
The Aspen Counseling Center would like to offer a group in using the skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a very useful therapy for those struggling with the challenges and impact of difficult emotions. If you are interested in participating in group DBT Therapy please contact the office at 970.920.5555.

STAFF
Program Director      Andrea Pazdera, Ph.D., LMFT, CFLE
Andrea has Master’s degree and Doctorate in Marriage & Family Therapy and is licensed as a Marriage & Family therapist and Family Life Educator. Dr. Pazdera has worked in variety of clinical and academic settings and is a certified Within My Reach trainer and pre-marital educator. She has peer-reviewed publications on foster care, trauma & families at risk of violence, joining the Aspen Counseling Center in 2011.

Licensed Clinician     Lori Kret, LCSW
Lori earned a Master of Social Work degree and certification in Trauma Response and Recovery Counseling from the University of Denver. Lori joined the clinical staff of the Aspen Counseling Center in 2011 to provide individual, family, and group counseling to children and adults.

Licensed Clinician     Marny Nedlin, Ph.D., LMFT
Marny earned a Doctorate in Marriage & Family Therapy and her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. Marny joined the clinical staff of Aspen Counseling Center in 2008, and brings nearly 20 years of experience in a variety of settings.

Licensed Clinician     Julie Schopper, LCSW
Julie has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas. Julie joined the staff of the Aspen Counseling Center in 2000 to provide individual therapy to adults. Julie brings over 15 years of experience in a variety of settings.

Licensed Clinician     Jeff Cole, LPC, CACIII
Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Counselor with a Master’s degree in Contemplative Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. He offers supportive solutions to substance and behavioral addictions through dynamic processing, strength and mindfulness based practices and trauma informed care. He joined the Aspen Counseling Center in 2013.

Clinician     Gladys Augello-Martinez, CAC II
Gladys earned a Master of Social Work degree from the New Mexico Highlands University. She is a Certified Addiction Counselor II and has worked in the substance abuse field since the late 1980’s. Gladys joined the staff of the Aspen Counseling Center in 2011 to provide bilingual substance abuse therapy, and facilitate our DUI Education and Therapy program.

Clinician     Delfina Clark, MA
Delfina earned a Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Delfina joined the staff of the Aspen Counseling Center in 2010 to provide bilingual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Clinician     Brad Osborn, CAC III
Brad is a certified addictions counselor in Colorado and Oregon, and began his career in the substance abuse field working in the detoxification unit for Colorado West Recovery Center.  He managed the Colorado West Recovery Center detoxification facility in Aspen, and is the Founder of The Right Door. Brad is a member of NAADAC, the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors and currently serves as a Treasurer, Board of Director and is the Past President of CAAP, the Colorado Association of Addictions Professionals, NAADAC’s Colorado affiliate.

Clinician     Kate Cardamone, MA
Kate has a Master’s Degree in counseling psychology from John F. Kennedy University in the San Francisco bay area. She is also trained in Somatic Experiencing trauma healing. Kate grew up in Aspen, and has returned to Colorado to pursue a license in Marriage and Family Therapy. She joined Colorado West in January 2013. 

Clinican & Case Manager     Becky Huckaby Raphaelson, M.A.
Becky has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. She has previously worked with adults in a correctional setting, and is certified in Strategies for Self Improvement and Change. She joined the staff of the Aspen Counseling Center in August 2012.

Business Services      Susan Markwood, BA
Susan is the Business Services Assistant for Aspen Counseling Center. She has served on the business staff since 1991. Susan has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Florida.
