Program Director Kathryn Davis, LPC
Kathy joined Colorado West as Summit County Program Director in 2007 with over 20 years in management and administration. She added Grand County to her responsibilities in early 2012. Kathy obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Regis University, and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado – Denver. Kathy is a certified instructor of Mental Health First Aid, a founding member of the 5th Judicial Drug Court Team and avid bicyclist.
Licensed Clinician Cynthia Rose, LPC, LMFT, CAC III
Cynthia holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family from Pepperdine University. She also completed post graduate training at the Ann Freud Center UCL – Infant through Adult Attachment, is a Certified Addictions Counselor and an Approved Domestic Violence Offender Treatment Provider.
Licensed Clinician Cherie Lowenberg, LCSW
Cherie returns to Colorado West as a part-time relief clinician. Cherie obtained her MSW from the University of Denver & has worked as a child protection worker in the Douglas County Dept. of Social Services, then as a cottage therapist in the residential treatment program at Cathedral Home for Children, & as coordinator of Youth Empowerment Services Program through the Albany County School District, both in Laramie WY. Cherie enjoys T’ai Chi, hiking, music, & “purr-y” times with her two cat pals.
Licensed Clinician Sadie Smith, LMFT
Sadie joined Colorado West in the Fall of 2012 after working for Yellowstone Behavioral Health Center in Cody, WY for 3 years. Sadie holds a B.M.Ed from VanderCook College of Music, Chicago, IL and an MA in Counseling Psychology; MFT from Regis University, Las Vegas. Sadie is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a certified EMDR therapist specializing in treating children ages 0-5. Sadie also enjoys working with: trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorders as well as adolescents and family issues. Sadie enjoys finding new adventures traveling the third world.
Clincian Lance Howe, CAC III
Lance joined the CWMH team in October of 2010. Lance is a Certified Addictions Counselor level III and has worked across the country for the last thirty years in substance abuse prevention, Children of Alcoholic’s issues, chemical dependency residential inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment and community development.
Medical Case Manager Julie Scholl, RN
Julie joined Colorado West as a Medical Case Manager in 2010. Trained in London, England she then immigrated to North America. Julie has worked as an RN in multiple Provinces and States, specializing in dermatology, homecare and clinic management. Julie settled in Grand County in 2001 and represents Grand and Summit Counties as a board member for North West Colorado Center for Independence. Julie enjoys spending her spare time gardening, doing ranch work and traveling.
Business Services Associate Rachel McWilliams
Rachel was born and raised in Colorado and has been with Colorado West since April of 2012. Rachel obtained her bachelor of science from Colorado State University and enjoys spending her free time hiking and riding horses.
