Program Director Jackie Skramstad, LCSW
Jackie has been with Colorado West since 2002. A graduate of Glenwood Springs High School, she received her BS degree from Santa Clara University and her MSW from San Jose State, both in California. Jackie started her career in California working at Eastfield Ming Quong Child and Family and San Benito County Mental Health before moving home to Glenwood Springs. Jackie has been involved with the implementation of the DBT program in Garfield County and provides training company-wide. Jackie has a passion for hiking, camping and being outdoors.
Program Coordinator Tony Passariello, MSW, LCSW
Tony has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and joined Colorado West in 2010 serving children, adolescents and adults.
Licensed Clinician Colleen Ems, LPC, NCC
Colleen received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is currently in the process of obtaining her Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) Level II. Colleen specializes in working with people who have an addiction or a combination of addiction and mental health issues.
Clinician Raelynn Pedersen, MA
Raelynn holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and is working toward her LPC license. She has been with Colorado West since 2009 and has recently begun working as an Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician. Raelynn’s specialties cover a broad range of client populations and issues including working with families,sexually abused children, parenting education and attachment-focused treatment.
Clinician Jenna McGrath, MS, NCC
Jenna holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. She is also a National Certified Counselor. She provides both outpatient therapy and emergency services to children, adolescents and adults. She utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
Clinician Walter Holak, MSW
Walter recieved his Bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado, in Human Services with an emphasis in Addictive Behaviors. He recieved his Master’s in Social Work, (MSW) from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He has experience in psychiatric clinical settings, both inpatient and outpatient as well as drug and alchohol settings, inpatient and outpatient. He has also worked in Illinois school districts as a school social worker for many years–including elemetary, middle and high schools.
Business Services Renee Zehr
Renee has worked with Colorado West since 2011. She is currently working on her Associate of Arts degree. Renee enjoys interacting with all of the clients who come in for services. Customer service is her passion.
