Situated in a classic Victorian house, the Oasis Clubhouse is a place for recovery, empowerment, fun and friendship. It’s a place to hang out, receive support and reassurance, and engage in meaningful work. Clubhouse activities include skills groups, support groups, work groups and recreational activities and outings. Membership is free, voluntary and open to anyone with mental health issues.

This program provides people with the skills necessary to reenter the competitive work force at their own pace and comfort level with plenty of support, intended to make employment successful and long-lasting. Through the program people may receive:

STAFF
Program Coordinator Cathy Bozarth
Cathy has been with CW since 2005, working in various levels of care including inpatient substance abuse and medical team case management and SOAR case management. She was named Program Coordinator of the Oasis Clubhouse in September 2011. She currently holds a BA degree in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services and is working towards her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health at Adams State University. Cathy is also a certified instructor of Mental Health First Aid.
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Kevin Hatch
Kevin is a former Marine with a background in security and personnel management. After retiring from the Marines he was part of the management team for a resort in Glenwood Springs. Kevin has a special interest in working with veterans, and as a member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association he spends some of his free time raising money to assist veterans and their families. He also enjoys exercising, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
Oasis/Housing Case Manager Joanne Clarkson
Joanne was born and raised in New York City. She migrated to Massachusetts for 9 years and then she and her husband moved to Montana and raised two children. She holds a BA in Sociology and an AA in Business Administration. She came to Grand Junction in 2004 to be near her son and has been with us since 2007.
Clinician Jason Fedeli
Jason graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Psychology with honors, where two of his research projects were published in professional journals. He is now obtaining his Master’s degree in counseling from Adams State University and after that wants to pursue his Ph.D in Psychology. Jason’s goal is to eventually become a professor of Psychology, thus becoming able to conduct research in areas of his interests and be published professionally on a more consistent basis.
