INTEGRATED CARE & SPECIAL PROGRAMS
ST MARY’S FAMILY PRACTICE AND MARILLAC CLINIC To better provide increased collaborative support for our clients and the medical community, CW has full-time therapists at St. Mary’s Family Practice and at the Marillac Clinic. These therapists are trained in integrated care models of treatment and provide brief, solution-focused behavioral intervention to patients. Further, therapists are readily able to easily consult with medical providers regarding mental/behavioral health issues.
SCHOOL DISTRICT 51 Through a grant-funded, partnership CW and SD51 are undergoing efforts to decrease substance abuse and truancy in high school students. CW provides therapeutic support in terms of brief screening, supportive counseling, parent training, and participation in “Saturday School” – an opportunity to assist students with positive decision making and pro-social choices through experiential activities.
APPIC-MEMBERED PRE-DOCTORATE PSYCHOLOGY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM This generalist program provides doctoral-level interns with a full-year, 2000 hour internship in community mental health. Psychology Interns conduct individual, family, and group therapy, provide diagnostic evaluations, conduct psychology testing, complete a one-day per week rotation in integrated care and conduct a full-year research project. This year we have four doctoral-level interns.
EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM Financial support is available to qualifying families (CHP+ or uninsured) with children aged 0-6 seeking mental health treatment. Also, trainings in early childhood issues and observation/consultation with day cares/preschools can be arranged.

Program Director Felicia Romero, MS, LPC, CAC III
Felicia is a licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Addictions Counselor III who joined Colorado West in May 2012 and has been practicing in the field of mental health, substance abuse and victim advocacy for almost a decade. In addition to administrative responsibilities she enjoys working with children and families in an array of evidence-based practices. From a clinical perspective, her interests are mood disorders and substance abuse issues, anxiety disorders, mental health disorders with individuals, families, couples, women’s recovery, children and adolescents.
Program & Training Director Amy Gallagher, Psy.D
Amy superivises child and family clinicians, integrated care clinicians and our pre-doctoral psychology internship program. She also conducts trainings in Motivational Interviewing, the Columbia Model and early childhood issues and is an integral part of several local collaborations in mental and behavioral health.
Clinical Supervisor Kevin Wight, LCSW, CAC III
Kevin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addictions Counselor level 3 who has been with Colorado West since 2004. He enjoys solution-focused and family-centered therapies working with the children and families. His clinical interests are anxiety, depression, oppositional defiance, disruptive behaviors, children of divorce, families involved with the child welfare system, attachment issues, adoptive family issues and families with substance abuse issues, and Autism Spectrum. Kevin is fluent in Spanish & Portuguese.
Licensed Clinician Jana Bauman, LPC
Jana is a licensed Professional Counselor who has been with Colorado West since August 2011. She specializes in client-centered, cognitive restructuring, solution-focused brief therapy, positive psychology and family-centered practice with children and families. Her clinical interests are community corrections, adolescents, adults, family, mood disorders and spirituality.
Licensed Clinician Ned Becker, LPC, RPTS
Ned is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a registered play therapist supervisor and member of The Association for Play Therapy. He has worked with various populations and is currently doing diagnostic evaluations. His theoretical orientation is Client-centered and Eclectic Therapy. He is interested in childhood issues, depression, self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence and anger management.
Licensed Clinician Barbara Queally, MC,LPC
Intake Specialist Barbara Queally has been employed by Colorado West for over seven years cumulatively. First working as a therapist and intake clinician in the Child & Family Program, she took some time to raise her children as a stay-at-home mother and then was delighted to return as CW’s first dedicated intake specialist. In addition to a Masters in counseling, Barbara has a Masters of Fine Arts in acting and dancing.
Licensed Clinician Valerie Etter, LCSW
Valerie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, joined Colorado West in July 2010. Her therapies include Cognitive Behavioral, Rational Emotive, Solution-Focused, Insight-Oriented Psychodynamic and Psycho-educational. Her clinical interests are adult, moderate to high intellectual functioning forensic population, mood and anxiety disorders couples counseling and Axis II dual diagnosis.
Licensed Clinician Rocky Martellaro, LPC, LAC
Rocky is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Additions Counselor who has been in the addictions field for over 16 years and with Colorado West since September 2005. His theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches. His clinical interests are substance abuse at any age and adults with criminal justice issues.
Licensed Clinician Anne Ryan, LPC
Anne is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been with Colorado West since September 1998. She specializes in working with adults with mental health issues. Her therapies include Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Seeking Safety and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her clinical interests are post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders and behavioral disorders.
Licensed Clinician Whitney Adams, LSW
As part of CW’s integrated care efforts, Whitney provides individual and family therapy services to DHS-involved children and families as a child and family therapist. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and play therapy in her work.
Licensed Clinician Kathleen Grace, LPC, CAC II
A member of our integrated care team, Kathleen is located within St. Mary’s Family Practice to provide individual and group therapy, brief behavioral interventions and education to doctors & citizens regarding behavioral health issues.
Licensed Clinician Rhonda Cox, LPC
Rhonda is a Master’s level therapist and licensed professional counselor who has been with Colorado West since April 2010. Her theoretical Orientation is Client Centered, Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness, and Brief-Solution Focused therapy. Her interests include substance abuse adults with mental health and criminal justice involvement, mood disorders, anxiety and adjustment disorders.
Licensed Clinician Leta Hughes, LCSW
Leta specializes in geriatrics and end-of-life issues, often meeting with clients and family in homes and nursing homes when necessary. She also works with people who suffer from chronic mental illness, substance abuse, and with the dual-diagnosed. Leta joined Colorado West in 2007.
Licensed Clinician Christine Mok-Lamme, LPC
Christine’s focus is on family systems, parenting, play therapy, and motivational interveiwing. She also works with those dealing with loss, greif, depression and trauma.
Licensed Clinician Suzi Goudzwaard, Psy.D LPC
Integral to local collaborative efforts, Suzi provides behavioral health screenings and participates in “Saturday School” efforts through SD51. She provides individual and family therapy using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian, family systems, and solution-focused techniques.
Program Leader, Theraputic Day Program Angela Deeths, LCSW
Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has been with Colorado West since November, 2011. She is currently the program leader and school based therapist at the Therapeutic Day Program. She specializes in working with children/adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders.
Clinician Jay Pollock, MA, CACIII
Jay is a Master’s level therapist and a Certified Addictions Counselor III and joined Colorado West since January, 2006. His theoretical orientation is of the Cognitive Behavioral Approach. He enjoys working with individuals with substance abuse issues as well as less chronic mental health issues and relationships issues.
Clinician Nicki Rennewanz-Reeves, MA, CACIII
Nicki is a Master’s level therapist and a Certified Additions Counselor III. She joined Colorado West in June 2005 and focuses on Cognitive Behavior and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She is interested in co-occurring disorders, women’s recovery and substance abuse disorders.
Clinician Lynne Peuse, MA
Lynn specializes in individual and family therapy utilizing a combination of play therapy, art therapy, and biblio-therapy. She is well-versed in the evidence-based practices of Columbia Model for Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Love & Logic parenting skills.

Based at the Marillac Clinic, Michelle sees individual patients, provides brief behavioral interventions and provides behavioral consultation to doctors at the Marillac Clinic.
